STEM Lessons
STEM Lessons
At KES, our GT/Enrichment/STEM Resource teacher has been working with each grade level to develop STEM lessons that adhere to the new NGSS guidelines. These hands-on STEM lessons are permeated with real-wrold experiences such as field trips and guest speakers which are incorporated into their units of study. All students take part in these experiences. In addition, our STEM Resource teacher provides select students with opportunities in robotics and SeaPerch (an innovative underwater robotics program).

At KES, all grade levels have Problem Based Learning (PBL) lessons/units. Each grade level aslo has problem solving built into their curriculum. Hands On Learning is also provided through lessons and field trips.
