Madlabs came to visit our school. They delivered a workshop to fourth and fifth classes in the school.
The MadLab workshop is a hands-on practical introduction to electronics and soldering. Each pupil made their own working electronic gadget to take home. The workshop was in two parts - the first part was an introductory talk followed by fitting components to the circuit board and the second part was the soldering itself.
Fourth Class made a lie detector using a circuit board and a battery. They had to insert the resistors, transmitters, LEDs and a battery. They had to solder the wires and use a tuner to make it work.
Fifth Class made bag pipes!
