Complete a Udemy or Future Learn course on programming (language of your choice - Python will aid your progress at AS better, but you choose your language for A2 so you’d be getting a head start). Note: there are free courses available on both sites that are really great, you shouldn’t have to pay for a course if you don’t want to. They also both have sales regularly so it is worth being patient.
12.1 - Create
Create a program (e.g. game, interface, website, etc) of your choice using a language of your choice.
This should be handed in to the KMS Bacc Site with clear reference to what activity your took part in. Consider the use of a screenshot and or a review for what you did (i.e. a testimonial for KS5 students who follow you - would you recommend it and why/who for?)

What you do with your activity has to suit your development as an individual as well as help promote getting involved in extracurricular opportunities (i.e. supporting your local community). Choose from one of the following, or discuss with your teacher:
Discuss your findings with your teacher - ask for a 10 to 20 minute segment of a lesson to talk about what you found out. It will be really useful to set a driving question to help all in attendance understand what we were discussing.
Attend/watch/listen as a group. As a team write a list of the key points observed, together come up with a set of questions or links the content has to either:
your lives,
your community or,
your future.
Record a podcast episode for Ms Davies concerning your activity. The podcast recording must be provided to your teacher and approved first, to provide you an opportunity for feedback.
Write an article to be included within the school newsletter. The article must be provided to your teacher and approved first, to provide you an opportunity for feedback.
Write a review of the lecture/course/episode giving a detailed account of its content and delivery - ensuring you give your recommendation or not depending on its content.
Create a program using the language of your choice in order to demonstrate its development. Choose to either demonstrate it within a lesson or record a video in order to talk through the important points as well as its development.
12.3 Share:
Work to develop your 2 Point Task in order to gather feedback and then share it within our larger community. Most Scientists, Scholars and Professionals aim to ensure they publish their research and findings regularly (often to extend notarity within their fields). It is an incredibly balanced skillset, to develop a method of communicating technical language and terminology both within your field and beyond.
We recommend you talk to your teacher, the school publishes regularly in many formats that have a larger reach. You may find one together which suits your aims.
