Key Stage 5
Key Stage 5
Some of the projects will be submitted to teachers to mark and can be counted towards coursework, EPQ or your super curriculum personal learning. Other projects will be completely individual to you and you will present your evidence in the Autumn Term of Year 13. You will need at least 5 points in each section to be awarded Bronze, 8 points for Silver, 10 for Gold. For Platinum, you must achieve all of the points for Gold but can then earn an additional 10 points from any of the three sections.
This is divided into 1, 2 or 3 point tasks allowing you to choose how you wish to divide your time. Each faculty will set tasks for you and you must complete at least one from two different faculties. There are set dates to submit projects throughout the year. Your class teacher will mark them and award the points on ClassCharts.
This will be certified by you giving a presentation and discussing the project and the impact that you had in it's success. In this category you are expected to take the lead in a project thta you feel passionate about. You should also take photos or videos of your progress including getting impact statements from any stakeholders.
The work that you do helping others in the community is key here. This could be volunteering, charity work or helping out community groups on a regular basis. This will show that you can work as part of a team. You should keep a log of your service including the number of hours spent and any other evidence such photos or videos.
