Late Arrival or Early Release privileges are available to students that meet specific requirements.
Please keep in mind these important points regarding Early Dismissal and Late Arrival:
This is a privilege available to students in good standing; those with sufficient credits and on track to meet state and local graduation requirements.
This privilege can be revoked at any time in a semester by school administration due to attendance or grade issues that jeopardize graduation.
Students holding the privilege of Late Arrival or Early Dismissal must leave the building, grounds and parking lot immediately after release every day. Students dismissing early may return, after school is dismissed, for extracurricular events as scheduled after school. Students are expected to follow all school rules until they have left the building.
Students may request only one bell of either Early Release or Late Arrival per semester but are permitted to also take a study hall, unless otherwise discussed with building administration.
All students are required to be enrolled in the equivalent of 5 of 7 classes each semester as long their schedule keeps them on track to graduate at the end of the year.
All requests for Late Arrival/Early Release made by eligible students will be honored unless scheduling conflicts or class size make scheduling impossible. Final decisions will rest with the administration.
