Service Learning 2019

Sixth Form is a critical period of transition between school and the wider world of learning or employment and at King Ethelbert School we take pastoral care very seriously to ensure that students can make the most of their abilities.

We value our Sixth Formers as individuals and as leaders of our school community. Our pastoral provision aims to ensure that these critical two years are happy, nurturing and successful ones.

"I'm really enjoying exploring my passion for the subjects I've chosen." Ronni A.

"I like Sixth Form because I feel more independent and I like having more freedom within the school." Gemma S.

"At Sixth Form it shapes you as a person, not just academically. I feel that by taking the IBCP it supports me in my studies, but also learning about life. By learning about mortgages and politics, it has taught me how to survive in the world. I feel prepared for anything: from politics to art, to organisation, to buying or renting a home. By teaching a whole range of subjects and skills, King Ethelbert Sixth Form have set me up and made me feel ready to start the rest of my successful life." Amy Alexander.

What will it look like for me?
