Towards the end of each season, the IMechE Iberia branch will look to award different prizes in the Design and Make Challenge for the F24 and F24+ categories.
These awards are available for teams participating both with the F24 initiation kits or with their own scratch build designs. What we are looking for are teams to show how they analyse and prioritise areas for improvement in their car designs, followed by the manner in which they develop and value these different designs, prior to manufacturing their chosen design and then evaluating the extent to which the final product fulfils the improvement objective.
At the same time, we are looking for teams to show their ability to prepare a cocise technical document, for which in addition to the submission being written in English, each of the sections indicated below will have a specified maximum word/character count.
For this season, the report submission will be broken down to the following sections:

Once the 2025 IMechE DESIGN AND MAKE CHALLENGE form has been completed and submitted, a "2025 DESIGN AND MAKE" folder will be created in the team's Drive folder so that images of drawings and components can be loaded in order to be evaluated with the text.
The submission deadline for the 2025 IMechE DESIGN AND MAKE CHALLENGE form is the 3rd of October, with awards (financial prizes for winners in F24 and F24+ categories and certificates for all participants) being presented at the Navarra finals.
