Let me introduce myself, I am Deanne Shaw and I will be your child's teacher this year. I have three adult children but I am just as concerned about their day to day life as I was when they were starting school. I assure you, I will treat your child as if they were my own child!

I completed my education at Virginia Tech. (GO HOKIES!!) This year will be my thirteenth year at Potomac Elementary School and my twenty-first year teaching Kindergarten. I love my Kindergarten crew!! We ROCK! Oh yeah, I LOVE cats, especially Pete The Cat!
