Partners with educators to design and implement evidence-based curricula and assessments that integrate elements of deeper learning, critical thinking, information literacy, digital citizenship, creativity, innovation, and the active use of technology.
Empowers Students as Creators
Encourages and facilitates students to become increasingly self-directed as they create digital products of their learning that engage them in critical thinking, collaboration, and authentic real-world problem solving.
-Library Resources folder in Classlink contains single sign on links for most library resources
-District LMS working with 3rd through 5th graders monthly on using different library resources including Destiny, Sora, Beanstack, Databases, and more
-Library paraprofessionals lead tech time for 5K through 2nd graders
-District LMS works with secondary level classes when requested by staff or at the request of the LMS
-KSD Library Scope and Sequence document
-Wisconsin Information and Technology Literacy Digital Citizen Standards
-Investigate Digital Literacy Learning programs and implement a plan for students to achieve the Wisconsin ITL Digital Citizen Standards
-Update the library Scope and Sequence document to incorporate any new Digital Literacy Learning Programs
-Try new resources to help with teaching current events, coding, and keyboarding
