Participates in setting the school district’s vision and strategic plan for digital learning and fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation to empower teachers and learners.

Current Practices & Artifacts

-District LMS participated in the ad hoc Resource Committee and Elementary ELA Curriculum committee

-District LMS is currently involved with or has recently been involved with the following groups/organizations:

Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association (WEMTA) Board member, including Intellectual Freedom Committee Chair, and Legislative Committee member
Wisconsin Schools Digital Library Consortium (WSDLC) Board member
DPI School Library Workgroup member
CESA 1 and CESA 6 Library Media Network member
Milwaukee Area Secondary LMS group member

Possible Areas for Growth

-Collaborate with curriculum and technology leaders in the district to investigate Digital Literacy learning programs and create an instructional plan

-Participate in more school or district committees

-Collaborate more with teachers on lessons or units
