Our Mission: The Shafter High School Performing & Visual Arts Department will develop artistic literacy, excellence in artistic achievement, and create academic growth in our students while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Our department will display student work to the town of Shafter and enrich the lives of the community. As a department we commit to collaborating with each other, other teachers, students, and parents to create the best learning environment for all.
