Our Mission: Shafter High Science Department is to engage students in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We commit to providing instruction using a variety of teaching pedagogies including, hands on experimental learning, use of literacy practices (CER), inquiry based laboratories, and comprehensive projects.
