A: "My message to upcoming freshman would be to work hard everyday on the field and in the classroom. Enjoy every day of their high school career and never take a day for granted. High school goes by in a blink of an eye, so take advantage of the time you have. "
Q: "What does coaching mean to you?"
A: "Coaching to me means helping student athletes grow in the most important time in their life. Not only on the football field, but in everyday life. Teaching them to be respectful, have discipline and be hard working in every aspect of life."
Q: "What are your expectations for this year's team?"
A: "My expectation this year are high. After losing every game last year. I expect the team to be hungry and motivated to work hard everyday and be disciplined. When you work hard and have discipline, good things happen. Nothing in life comes easy, sow ith patience and perseverance we will be a great football teams and become even better men off the field."
Q: "How many years have you been coaching?"
A: " I have been coaching football for 22 years. I began my coaching career in Shafter with the youth program and later coached at Golden Valley High School and Ridgeview High School. While at Ridgeview, we reached 6 consecutive Valley Title games, winning three of them. I also had a coaching stint at Mira Monte. Now, I am back at Ridgeview, working to restore the winning culture we once had. Additionally, I have served as the head wrestling coach at Mira Monte for the past two years."
Q:"What message would you like to give to upcoming freshman football players?"
A: "The most important message for our incoming freshman football players is to understand that they are student athletes, with a strong emphasis on the "student" aspect. Tradition and culture start with our first-year athletes. Therefor, hard work. dedication, loyalty, and a sense of family should be central to everything they do over the next four years--not only on the field but also in the classroom, at home, and in the community. Being a member of the PACK family is an experience to connections that resonate wit loyalty and a shared purpose"
Q: "What does coaching mean to you?"
A: "Coaching has been a significant part of my life. I have had the opportunity to coach some truly special athletes who have gone on to accomplish extraordinary things both on and off the field. When you love something deeply and are passionate about what you do, it allows you to connect with your kids in a significant way. Instilling discipline, commitment, hard work, and loyalty, all while experiencing the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, is a humbling experience. Watching players grow, mature, and emerge into the world ready to succeed and face whatever challenges come their way is why we do what we do. It's also incredible to see former players come back and coach, continuing the cycle."
Q: "What are your expectations for this year's team?"
A: "We have a great football team this year, filled with high-character kids. I expect to win every game. As coaches, our job is to provide our team with the best opportunity to succeed. Will we win every game this year? I can't predict the future, but I can promise this: as a coaching staff, we will dedicate ourselves each week, investing all our time and effort to put our team in the best position to win."

A: "Success tends to favor the hardest workers."

A: "My message to freshmen is simple work hard, stay disciplined, and be dedicated. Football shaped me into who I am, and it can do the same for you. Winning comes from effort and attitude, not just talent."
