Car Riders

Welcome Back Piner Panthers!

The following is information about our car rider process:

• Car riders will be dismissed at 3:30p.m. and will be pick up in the front of the building.  Please see the video if you need more information.

• Parents may begin lining up for car rider dismissal NO EARLIER than 3:00 p.m. 

• We will continue using the Car Rider Pro (car tag) system this school year.  Please reuse your car tags from last year.

• Hang this car tag number on your rear view mirror.  Your child should memorize this number.  No student will be released to cars in the queuing line without a number.   

• If someone other than the guardian is picking your child up, we will need a written note from the guardian giving permission.  The person picking the student up will have to show a picture ID in the office and sign the student out.

• Each family is initially issued 1 car rider tag.  If you are needing a car rider tag for the 24-25 school year or need additional tags please contact Mrs. Due at vanessa.due@kenton.kyschools.us.  There is a $5 fee for lost or additional tags.

• If your child is going to be a car rider every day or the same specific days each week, please send a note on the first day of school stating the child's full name, teacher name, your car tag number, and the days your child will be a car rider.  Your child will not receive a reminder note from the office after the first day.

• We do not need to know who will be picking your child up through the car rider line as long as they have your family's WHITE car tag.

• If your child is going to be a car rider on occasion, please make sure to send a note on the day of the change stating your child's full name, teacher name, and car tag #.
