Career Exploration Opportunity: Healthcare

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is looking for students ages 17 or higher that are interested in working as a Patient Ambassador, Nutrition Assistant, or Patient Care Assistant. The program will run from October 10-May 31. Students will work 9 hours per week. The application for the first cohort is September 18th, with the cohort beginning October 10th. The application for the second cohort is November 17th, with the cohort beginning December 12th. Additional information and the application link can be found here. 

Career Exploration Opportunity: Firefighter

The City of Edgewood is accepting applications for their Junior Firefighter Program. This program is open to high school students ages 15-17.  Students will attend the same caliber of classes as our career and volunteer firefighters.  After a specific amount of training, our Junior FFs can begin making emergency responses with the members on duty.  The application can be found here.
