If you reside in Dixie Heights High School's boundaries, you may begin the enrollment process by contacting Mrs. Shelton, Guidance Registrar, at (859) 359-7902.
The following documents are needed for enrollment:
Completed Enrollment Form
Completed Release of Records Form
Verification of Residency (Electric bill, water bill, lease agreement or mortgage statement)
Kentucky Immunization Form
Current Physical
Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Transcript
Guardianship paperwork (if applicable)
If you live inside the boundary of the Kenton County School District and are districted to either Scott High School or Simon Kenton High School, an Open Enrollment Form needs to be completed and approved prior to enrollment.
If you live outside of the Kenton County School District, a Tuition Enrollment Form must be completed and approved prior to enrollment.
What do I need to do if my child is an 8th Grader and planning to attend Dixie?
If your child currently attends a Kenton County School District Middle School:
If your child currently attends Turkey Foot Middle School or Summit View Middle School and resides in Dixie’s school boundaries, your child will automatically be enrolled at Dixie Heights High School. No other action is needed to attend Dixie.
If your child currently attends Turkey Foot Middle School, Summit View Middle School, Woodland Middle School or Twenhofel Middle School, but does not reside in Dixie’s school boundaries, you will need to complete an open enrollment or tuition form.
An Open Enrollment form needs to be completed if you live inside the boundary of the Kenton County School District and are districted to either Scott High school or Simon Kenton High School.
A Tuition Form needs to be completed if you reside in a school district other than Kenton County School District.
If your 8th Grade child is not currently attending a Kenton County School District Middle School:
If your child does not currently attend a Kenton County School District Middle School, you will need to complete the enrollment process prior to attending Dixie.
There are three different categories of enrollment status:
Students who reside in the Dixie school boundaries. These students are automatically accepted to Dixie. These students need to contact Dixie regarding the enrollment process.
Students who reside inside the boundary of the Kenton County School District and are districted to either Scott High school or Simon Kenton High School. These students need to complete an Open Enrollment Form prior to enrollment. (See Open Enrollment Link above)
Students who reside in a school district other than Kenton County School District. These students need to complete a Tuition Form prior to enrollment.
