EduProtocols are instructional lesson frames that are designed to engage students in learning through critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. EduProtocols can be used at any grade level or any content, making them adaptive. They also are great tools for online learning and encourage students to tap into communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative innovation, all the while boosting confidence around the content.
EduProtocols offer a great structure for completing lessons. By assigning a template in your LMS (Google Classroom, Schoology, Seesaw, Canvas, etc.), you can either guide your students through an activity or let them work on their own. With having a common structure, teachers can universally facilitate conversation and still receive a variety of outcomes. Listed below is a link to templates to get you started as well as some videos explaining how the protocols can used.
Reflection and Discussion Question ⬇:
How could you utilize EduProtocols in your instruction? Are there any other protocols or structures you have used with students previously?
