- What is a PD Party?
Well, we are so glad you asked! This final day of the 2020 12 Days of EdTech Cheer will have a different format than previous days. This is our only synchronous meeting - but no need for Zoom or Google Meet! The party will take place on Facebook through the 2020 12 Days of EdTech Cheer PD Party event.
How will this party work?
Grab a snack and a beverage and find a comfy place to hang out for an hour.
Navigate to the event page about 5 minutes before the party starts.
We will welcome you with a Facebook live video and then after that, you will start to see posts show up about every three minutes.
Simply read the post, check out the images shared, and then comment on the post based on the question shared. Easy-peasy!

2. How Can I Use This in My Educational Practice?
We have put in a lot of work the previous 11 days, and now it is time to party! Throughout the live, 1-hour online party, we will be sharing different tools, resources, and strategies that can be used for online learning. The power of this party will not come from us - it will come from YOU! We are providing you with a structure and an open line for communication with others who are excited to learn and share just as you are!
1️⃣ After the party has concluded, you will need to complete the Completion Form to initiate the process for us to begin processing your SCECH credit.
2️⃣ Even if you just partied with us and are not applying for SCECH credit for the full course, you can also fill out the Completion Form and let us know what you thought of the PD Party!
