Description: This project developed the needed skills to design a simple database for a small bookstore. First entities needed to be established so the books can be categorized using metadata and linked together within the database model for easy reference and transactions. A conceptual model was then built to show how the entities connected to each other. Lastly, a logical model was designed to show the complex workings of the database and how each primary key and foreign key can be cross-referenced in each table to which they are connected. Seeing as databases are a part of most if not all LAM this project has prepared me to understand and use them effectively.
