Subject Headings: The library catalog will use the subject headings provided in the Sears List for subject headings for materials. When creating a MARC record, use up to 3 subject headings per material.
o Bibliographic Record Consistency: Sears subject headings will also be used across the board for consistency of subject headings.

To maintain consistency, call numbers and labels will be used following the Dewey Decimal System, and fiction will have additional generified labels.
