Concert Orchestra (beginning)

This beginning orchestra provides 6th grade students the opportunity to develop fundamental skills necessary for future success in Middle School orchestra ensembles. This class is designed for students who have no previous string experience.  An audition is not required to enroll in this ensemble. 

Classroom instruction begins with basic setup, introductory playing techniques, and learning to read standard music notation. Participation in private lessons is strongly encouraged.
