FIDO2 Security Key Configuration Manual (Windows)
You must register a PIN and biometric information on your FIDO2 security key in advance.
1. Multi-Factor Authentication Setup (FIDO2 Security Key (Windows))
Please refer to the text located to the right of or directly below each image for explanations corresponding to each step.
1.1. Log into keio.jp

Log into keio.jp using a web browser on your smartphone, and then access the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup page ( https://keio.okta.com/enduser/settings ).
Tap "Set up" in the "Security Key or Biometric Authenticator" section.
Note: When registering a second or subsequent passkey, the label for the "Security Key or Biometric Authenticator" section will change to "Passkey."

Access keio.jp using a web browser on your smartphone, and log in with your keio.jp account (ID and password).
1.2. Verify your identity using a security method

Please use one of the standard authentication factors you registered for daily use.
If the device you are currently using does not have any available standard authentication factors, please use phone authentication instead.
If an unintended authentication factor is displayed, click on "Verify with something else" and select the specific authentication factor you wish to use.

Please proceed to 1.3.
1.3. Set up security methods

Click "Setup".

Click "Set up" in the "Passkey" section.
1.4. Setting up a passkey
Click "Set up" on the next screen as well.
1.5. If a pop-up window appears in your browser prompting you to save a passkey
When a pop-up appears prompting you to register a passkey, click Change.
1.6. If a pop-up window appears in your browser prompting you to save a passkey
Click Security Key.
1.7. 1.7. Enter your PIN (Windows Security screen)
Enter the PIN registered to your FIDO2 security key, then click OK.
1.8. Touch your FIDO2 security key (Windows Security screen)
Touch your FIDO2 security key.
1.9. Check MFA settings

Once the registration is successful, the screen will automatically redirect, and your device will be registered.
We recommend setting a nickname so you can easily distinguish between your accounts and devices.

If the 'Continue' button appears at the bottom of the security method setup screen, multi-factor authentication setup using your FIDO2 security key is complete. Click 'Continue' to log in to keio.jp.
If you have only registered one factor, please register an additional authentication factor.
To make it easier to distinguish between your accounts and devices, we recommend setting up a nickname on the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup page.
