TOTP Setup Manual
Features :
You will authenticate by entering a 6-digit number displayed on your smartphone that changes every 30 seconds. This 6-digit number is unique to each user.
An environment where you can use a TOTP app, such as the Okta Verify app, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator, is required.
You can check the one-time passcode even when the smartphone with the registered app is offline. (Note: Your device's system time must be accurate.)
As long as you can check the code on the screen of your registered smartphone, it can be used to authenticate on other devices, such as a computer.
Notes :
Due to system specifications, you can register a maximum of 1 TOTP factor. If you wish to switch to a different device, please delete the currently registered device first, then register the new one.
Please set your device's time setting to "Automatic." If the device time is incorrect, authentication will fail.
When using Google Authenticator with a Google Workspace account (@keio.jp): If you log out of that specific Google account, you will not be able to log back in unless you have another authentication factor registered. We highly recommend selecting "Use Authenticator without an account" instead.
