Okta Verify App Setup Guide (Smartphone)
You must register biometric authentication on your smartphone in advance.
1. Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (Okta Verify App)
For explanations regarding the images in each step, please refer to the text provided to the right of or directly below the respective image.
1.1. Log into keio.jp
(Register from the Setup Page)
Log into keio.jp using a web browser on your smartphone, and then access the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup page ( https://keio.okta.com/enduser/settings ).
Tap "Set up" in the "Security Key or Biometric Authenticator" section.
Note: When registering a second or subsequent passkey, the label for the "Security Key or Biometric Authenticator" section will change to "Passkey."

Access keio.jp using a web browser on your smartphone, and log in with your keio.jp account (ID and password).
1.2. Verify your identity using a security method

Please use one of the standard authentication factors you registered for daily use.
If the device you are currently using does not have any available standard authentication factors, please use phone authentication instead.
If an unintended authentication factor is displayed, click on "Verify with something else" and select the specific authentication factor you wish to use.

Please proceed to 1.3.
1.3. Set up security methods

Tap "Set up."

Tap "Set up" in the "Okta Verify" section.
1.4. Set up Okta Verify
Tap "Download here" to install the app.
Once the installation is complete, return to your browser without opening the Okta Verify app.
1.5. Set up Okta Verify
Tap "Set up Okta Verify."
1.6. Add Okta Verify Account
The Okta Verify app will launch. Once the screen shown on the left is displayed, tap "Add Account."

Tap "Next."
1.8. Ways to verify
Tap "Add Account."
1.9. Verify Your Identity
Tap "Sign In."
1.10. Please log in to keio.jp
Enter your keio.jp account ID and tap "Next."
1.11. Verify your identity using a security method

1.12. Allow Notifications
Tap "Settings."
1.13. Face ID or Passcode Setup Screen (Okta Verify)
Tap "Enable."
1.14. Face ID or Passcode Setup Screen (Okta Verify)
Tap "Next."
1.15. Account Registration Completion Screen (Okta Verify)
Confirm that the account has been added, then return to your browser.
1.16. Confirm the addition of your account in the Okta Verify app

Confirm that "Okta Verify" is registered as a multi-factor authentication method. This completes the "Okta Verify" setup.

If the "Continue" button is displayed at the bottom of the security method setup screen, the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup using Okta Verify is complete. You can log into keio.jp by tapping "Continue."
If you have only registered one factor, please register an additional authentication factor.
