Local Information of Quy Nhon

From Phù Cát airport to Quy Nhơn, it takes about 30 minutes by cab and costs 350,000–450,000 dong (about 20 USD / 3,000 YEN), depending on the final destination within the city.
Many taxis are waiting in front of the airport (Sun Taxi, Lado Taxi, Mai Linh Taxi). There are also some reception counters for calling a taxi in front of the arrival. You can pay in USD or VND, however, it is better to pay in VND.
Information of a shuttle bus can be found in Quy Nhon – Travel guide at Wikivoyage. The bus stop in the Quy Nhon city is a bit far from the university. Please read the information there carefully if you use a shuttle bus.
In Quy Nhon, USD, EURO and YEN are not popular. We recommend you change the currency from USD, EURO, or YEN to VND at Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh airport. Probably, there is no currency exchange office at Phu Cat airport. Moreover, it is not easy to change the currency in Quy Nhon city (usually people change at the banks).
For the hotel, you can pay in USD. For YEN, even for EURO, it is difficult to pay in Quy Nhon.
You can use a credit card at hotels and "some" restaurants in Quy Nhon.
