Title: Geometric filling curves on punctured surfaces

Abstract: On a topological surface endowed with a hyperbolic metric, one can ask how to find bounds (based on the geometry of the surface) for the shortest closed geodesic that is epsilon-dense on the surface. Basmajian-Parlier-Souto in the Bulletin of the LMS gave length bounds for such a geodesic on a closed surface. In this talk, I will explain how to extend their construction to the case of punctured surfaces.
