UpToDate > All Divisions members are eligible for an UpToDate account, free of charge. Access more than 10,000 peer-reviewed topics in 21 specialties from international and Canadian authors, as well as drug information, medical calculators, and patient information sheets.

Unattached Patient Registry (KB HCR)
The Kootenay Boundary Health Connect Registry (KB HCR) is a centralized waitlist for unattached patients seeking a primary care provider in the region.
Refer unattached patients to the KB HCR - patients can self-register online at www.kbhcr.ca or by calling 811.
Reach out to your local HCR patient coordinator at kbhcr@kbdivision.ca for support when your clinic is ready to attach new patients.

EMRs
The Practice Support Program & Doctors of BC, in consultation with Divisions of Family Practice, have developed a series of EMR orientation videos > to help clinic staff who use the Accuro, Profile, Med Access, and Oscar EMR systems. These videos aim to reduce training time for new staff, allowing staff to spend more time optimizing their EMRs with clinic-specific information. Also available is a selection of EMR tip sheets > for quick reference.

Emergency Preparedness
Practical resources to help clinics take a proactive approach to preparing for and recovering from an emergency (wildfire, flood, internal threat, etc.) that impacts their operations. These resources assist clinics with developing evacuation, shelter in place, and incident recovery plans. They also contain information about practicing and reviewing your plan, including emergency drill scenarios and practice checklists.
