Kootenay Boundary Health Connect Registry (KB HCR)
The Kootenay Boundary Health Connect Registry (KB HCR) is a centralized waitlist for unattached patients seeking a primary care provider in the region.
Refer unattached patients to the KB HCR - patients can self-register online at www.kbhcr.ca or by calling 811.
Reach out to your local HCR patient coordinator at kbhcr@kbdivision.ca for support when your clinic is ready to attach new patients.

Pathways
Pathways is a web-based resource that helps to streamline and optimize patient referrals. Pathways has three services to support practitioners, their clinic staff, and patients:
Specialist referral, waitlist and location information province-wide, as well as hundreds of vetted resources for patients and practitioners which can be shared from a no-reply address.
Medical care directory with information about doctors and medical clinics in BC.
Community services directory with local and provincial services for patients.
BC College of Physicians & Surgeons
Serves public by regulating physicians & surgeons, ensuring they are qualified, competent and fit to practice medicine in BC. Easy to look-up, verify and find information on credentials and scope of practice for physicians through directory:
Emergency Preparedness Toolkit
Practical resources to help clinics take a proactive approach to preparing for and recovering from an emergency (wildfire, flood, internal threat, etc.) that impacts their operations. These resources assist clinics with developing evacuation, shelter in place, and incident recovery plans. They also contain information about practicing and reviewing your plan, including emergency drill scenarios and practice checklists.

Billing
LFP Payment Model - Information for medical office assistants & office managers> MOAs can access all the same BC Family Doctors billing resources that physician members can. As long as the family physician is a member, they can assign access to an MOA. Resources include continually updated information on both the new LFP Payment Model, and more than 600 billing resources & tips on fee-for-service.
PSP (Practice Support Program)
The goal of the Practice Improvement Coach is to address a Family practice’s immediate learning needs and provide tangible learning to support quality improvement in the practice. These learning sessions can be included as part of a supported Quality Improvement (QI) Cycle through Doctors of BC (DoBC), under the Primary and Community Care Transformation Team.

KB Division Member Services Liaison
