Youth Services

The Youth Services Subcommittees are well underway for the 2024-25 year. Our goal is to grow

our programs through connections with individual clubs, and to work with existing programs to

ensure success.

With the school year starting, all clubs who sponsor Interact Clubs should have their school club

Advisor secured and all RI paperwork completed. We are working on creating a networking list

so all Advisors in the District will have the ability to communicate with each other on activities

and provide resources.

Youth Exchange is busy with inbound students arriving and getting information out to clubs

about the outbound program which starts now for next year. YEX will be holding its Inbound

YEX Orientation on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 9:30am – 2pm at The Henry A. Wallace

Center at FDR Presidential Library and Home. If you would like to have someone speak to your

club about YEX, please let me know at lorijames.rotary@gmail.com.

RYLA seems like a distance away, but the school year goes by rapidly. Start to earmark your

potential students now so when applications are due, your Club is ready. Again, to find out more

The Youth Services Subcommittees are active and work hard year-round to provide service to

you and resources to many. We are seeking others to join in our work. If you or a fellow

Rotarian you know enjoys working and providing opportunities for our youth, then Youth
