Our Bands

Being a member of the Tays Band,teaches students structure and self-discipline as well as gives them a safe place to belong. We have several programs on campus for your children to learn and grow. Students start in the Tays Beginning Band, where they will learn the fundamental mechanics of their instrument, as well as music literacy, and musicianship. After beginning band, students audition for the Tays Advanced Bands. These ensembles consist of the Lyric Winds, Concert Winds, and Symphonic Winds. Additionally, students in the 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to perform in one of our Tays Jazz Bands if they would like to learn something new!
