Captain Blackheart buries his treasure but loses his treasure map! But all is not lost. His trusty crew remember different bits of the map.
"I remember drawing it with 5 squares each way", says the Captain.
"There was a row of three trees running due East from the square (1,1)", Peg Leg Pete says. "You put each one of them on a different square."
"Weren’t there four granite boulders going due South from (5,5)?" John asks. "I think you put one of them each in a square too."
"Ah!. Now I remember!" yells the Captain. "I buried the treasure half way between the first rock and the most western tree!"

Junie is planning to make cupcakes for her school bake sale.
a) There are 51 students, 11 teachers, and 102 parents attending the bake sale. If she decides to make a cupcake for each person, how many cupcakes does she need to make?
b) Junie wants to make half of the cupcakes chocolate and half of them vanilla. How many of each flavor should she make?
Before baking, Junie needs to buy ingredients for her cupcakes.
a) She buys three dozen eggs at the store. How many eggs has she purchased altogether?
b) On her way home, she drops 11 eggs. How many unbroken eggs does she have left?
Junie wants to make her cupcakes look extra special.

Biscuit Decorations
Hayden decorated 20 biscuits to take to a party.
He lined them up and put icing on every second biscuit.
Then he put a cherry on every third biscuit.
Then he put a chocolate button on every fourth biscuit.
So there was nothing on the first biscuit.
How many other biscuits had no decoration? Did any biscuits get all three decorations?
To help you to find the answer to this puzzle you can use:
Circles as biscuits
Green counters/pens for icing
Red counters/pens for cherries
White counters for chocolate buttons
