We have a thriving languages department with a 100% pass rate at A-level, and plenty of students who have gone on to study languages at university, including at the most prestigious universities in the country, such as Oxford, Durham and Bristol. Engaging with the task below will make the step to A-level much easier.
Our A-level course incorporates Spanish film and Spanish literature which make up important parts of the course. You need to get used to reading and watching works in the Spanish language, and accepting that you might not understand all of it at first. That is absolutely fine! It's all about perseverance, resilience and building your knowledge and love of the language.
Complete the attached handout over the next few weeks and into the summer holidays, and get your Spanish language up to scratch for September!
Gracias y un saludo,
Mr Vergara.
