Marketing Students Begin Service Learning Project with Lunenburg Animal Control
Marketing students have visited the Lunenburg Animal Shelter. The classes spent more than an hour at the shelter, holding cats, petting, and walking dogs. Each class decided to sponsor one dog. Currently, they are in the classroom working on a social media campaign to increase adoptions and educate owners. Their goal is to lower euthanizations, strays and transfers to regional shelters. The students could quickly tell that spending time with these animals makes them calm and would make great family pets.
The class whose dog is adopted first will win an ice cream party from Lunenburg Animal Control.

In November, Mr. Buchanan's 2nd Block class sponsored and named "Charger". They created a social media campaign. Last week, Charger was adopted by a loving family. Congratulations Charger and welcome to your new home!
