Ms. Berkowitz has been teaching SMILE PreK at the WHCIS since fall 2018. She holds a Masters Degree in Creative Arts in Learning in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Dance from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania.

Ms. Berkowitz has experience teaching children from three to nine years old and has taught in public and independent schools in both Massachusetts and New Jersey. Ms. Berkowitz brings the arts into the classroom through painting, music, movement, and storytelling. She enjoys being out in nature and bringing the love of learning to young children. 

She/Her: My name is Kristen Clark and I am proud to be a Winter Hill Wildcat!  I joined the PreK room in 2017.  I have a background in early childhood education and have worked in the field in many capacities throughout my life.  I live with my husband and two children here in Somerville. I am a proud mom to an SHS junior, my son, Kevin and my 23 year old daughter, Keren, who is a graduate student. I love reading, taking long walks and exploring Boston

Hi! My name is Mrs. Donaldson and I teach Kindergarten. I’ve been a member of the Winter Hill Wildcat family since 2013.  In our classroom, all are welcome and respected.  My favorite days are the ones when we get to be extra silly (i.e. wear pj’s to school, act out a book we have read, or have Go Noodle dance parties)! At home I like to read, cook, and snuggle with my cat. I also like to go hiking and camping with Mr. Donaldson. 

My name is Ms. Morgan. I am a Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching at the Winter Hill School for 5 years, but have been teaching Kindergarten in Somerville for 13 years. In Kindergarten, we love to learn and explore new things, and have fun. Outside of school, I like to travel and explore new places, hike with family and friends, dance, and read.

Hello! My name is Nalika Weerasinghe and I'm proud to be a Winter Hill Wildcat! I started working at WHCIS in kindergarten in 2023. I love working with children. I have done college courses in early childhood and child development. I also have work experience as a manager in integrated management systems (QMS, EMS, OH&SMS, GHG). I live with my husband and daughter. I enjoy playing organ, listening to music, and reading books.
