Parents & Guardians,

Man oh man, this year is flying by! I can hardly believe it how much the students have grown! Below you will see a tentative timeline for the rest of the year. My hopes are for us to cover at least two more novels before the year is out, including Nonfiction. 

January: Erika's Lighthouse School Counselor lessons & review concepts from earlier in the year. Introduction to Figurative language.

February: Number the Stars by Lois Lowery, our class novel #2.

March: Non-Fiction Unit

April: Test prep & State testing (Dates are TBD)

May: Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson

Conferences will be February 10 & 12. Stay tuned for more information in regard to scheduling.
