Anyone who writes LAPs: ESL Teachers, Colony Teachers, Title III Coordinators, Administrators,
Strengthen your understanding of Language Acquisition Plans (LAPs) and their role in supporting multilingual learners.
This September, educators can choose from two options based on their level of experience with the LAP process. Each workshop is offered multiple times to provide flexibility for district and school teams.
Designed for educators who are new to Language Acquisition Plans or would benefit from a foundational overview.
Participants will explore the purpose of the LAP, key components of the plan, and considerations for developing a plan that reflects a student’s English language development needs and instructional supports.

Designed for educators who are already familiar with LAPs and would like an opportunity to revisit key components, expectations, and practices.
This session will provide a focused review of the LAP process and considerations for keeping plans meaningful, current, and connected to classroom instruction and student language development.
