What is the SAT?
The SAT is a digital, section-adaptive standardized test that measures college readiness in Reading & Writing and Math for college admissions. The test takes about 2 hours and 14 minutes and is divided into two main sections, each with two modules. Students answer questions on shorter reading passages and use calculators for all math problems. Performance on the first module of each section determines the difficulty of the second module, influencing the final score.
