My name is Sydney McGillvrey and I am so glad you are here! I made this page in order to connect even further with both parents and students alike here in the Deubrook Area School District!
As the 7-12 grade school counselor in Deubrook Area School District, I am here to support students in three main areas:
Personal/Social - Providing a safe and comfortable space for students to talk, work through challenges and build life skills in order to support their self-awareness, build healthy relationships, and decision making.
Career/Postsecondary - Help students explore their career interests, prepare for college/technical school/workforce, and connect students with opportunities.
Academic - Help each and every student work towards attaining their highest academic potential, develop study strategies to encourage success, and assist students with Dual Credit and DDN online courses.
