Van Gogh Inspired Artwork

Students learned about the famous Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh and got inspired to do their own masterpiece based on one of his favorite subject matters, the sunflower. Students were introduced to the "thumbnail" sketch and were tasked to make multiple compositions before choosing a final layout. They decided on proportions, positive, negative space, and overall layout before making the last image.
