KHS Counseling Department Mission

The school counseling program at KHS promotes P.R.I.D.E. with a focus on academic, career and social/emotional development. We strive to foster a safe, equitable, and accessible environment for all students to engage in intentional, individualized, data-informed activities and interventions. The school counseling department partners with other educators and stakeholders to advocate for equity, access and success for all. By engaging in the comprehensive school counseling program, all students will have a solid foundation toward achieving personal and postsecondary success.
