Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a program based on career pathways.  Kalāheo offers five different career pathways: 

• Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources

• Cultural Arts, Media, and Entertainment (Academy of Media & Design)

• Engineering

• Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation

• Residential & Commercial Construction 

Why should I be a part of CTE?

Taking CTE courses and completing a program of study will prepare you for college and career. CTE focuses on hands on learning and critical thinking. CTE pathways meet real world industry standards with rigorous and relevant curriculum. By being a part of the CTE program you have opportunities to experience career tasks, learn about industry expectations, apply critical thinking skills for problem solving, be a part of a team, and make connections with industry partners. Our CTE pathways offer real world career connecting learning for all our students.
