What is the ImPACT Baseline Test?

The ImPACT Baseline test is a computerized test that assesses an athlete on memory, multi-tasking and reaction times etc. If an athlete sustains a concussion during the season, he/she will re-take the ImPACT test. Then both the Baseline and Post-Injury test scores are evaluated by a neuropsychologist (who reads the scores for all HIDOE high schools). He will either give the athlete's scores clearance or ask to re-test the athlete if the Post-Injury scores are deemed too low compared to the Baseline.
