During the spring semester of School Year 2024–2025, six student teams were trained and implemented the CARE program for eight weeks. Initial results showed promising outcomes within a short timeframe. The pilot also provided important insights into how to streamline program training and implementation, reducing the workload for lead implementers and supports while still collecting the data needed to evaluate the effectiveness of CARE’s integrated approach. Findings from the pilot were shared at the annual Hawai‘i Association for Behavior Analysis (HABA) Convention.
