Hawaii Online Courses (HOC) HOC is a supplementary program provided by the Hawaii DOE offering secondary courses to students statewide.
School Year
Cost: Courses are free of charge.
Registration: Enrollment is managed by the School Site Facilitator at your child's school. Please contact your counselor or registrar to request enrollment.
Course Limit: Students are limited to two courses per semester.
Eligibility: Student must be currently enrolled in a Hawaii DOE public school.
Summer Term
Cost: Free for DOE Students. Fee for non-DOE Students (Charter, Private, Homeschool)
Registration: Families enroll their children directly. Details will be posted prior to the summer session.
Course Limit: Students are limited to one credit during the summer session.
Eligibility: Student must be a Hawaii resident.
