Code of Conduct
Good conduct and a good reputation enable participants to take pride in their CTSO (DECA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA). The CTSO Conferences and Convention are official DOE functions; therefore, all DOE rules will apply and be enforced throughout the event. Members should understand each item before the conferences and convention.
In addition, the following rules will apply:
I will behave in a professional manner at all times and reflect positively on yourself, your school, and your organization.
I will keep my advisor informed of my whereabouts at all times.
I will adhere to the dress code during the entire conference.
I will behave as a professional by being on-time and attending all general sessions and activities to which I am assigned or registered.
I will show respect to those presenting as well as those in the audience.
I will, at all times, respect all public and private property, including event facilities.
I will not smoke or chew tobacco or purchase, consume, or be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs at any time. Violations are subject to school disciplinary action and legal consequences.
I will not use inappropriate, libelous, or profane language at any time.
My conduct shall be exemplary at all times.
