What Covid has done for the Environment

Covid had a positive impact on the environment because people had to stay inside meaning that there was less air and water pollution, less trash in the ocean and streets.

Covid has done a lot for the environment, for example places got cleaner because we had to quarantine. There was less trash in oceans, roads, and streets. There was less trash in the streets because if everyone was inside then there was going to be less littering. The Ocean didn’t have trash because no one went to beaches. With less trash on beaches, there were less turtles eating it. There wasn’t as much trash on the roads because not as many people were driving around.

There wasn't as much pollution in the oceans. With everyone inside, no one was driving boats or ships which meant no oil pollution in oceans. This meant that sea animals were coming back like turtles, fish, and dolphins. There were also less rules at beaches because everyone had to stay inside.

There was less pollution in the air because no one was working at factories or driving cars and airplanes. There was no one using liquids that caused air pollution so there wasn't harsh weather and more pests. Without Covid around there could have been respiratory and heart problems.

In conclusion a lot of things today would have been worse without covid but Covid let things cool down a little. Covid let animal populations rise again and have less trash in the ocean and streets. Without it then our world will be filled with trash and polluted water and air.
