Are you ready to design, build, and compete? Join the Aliamanu Middle competitive robotics team for a challenging and rewarding year focused on mastering the VEX IQ game. This is more than a class—it's an engineering adventure where you will apply the core principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to real-world problems. What You'll Experience: The Engineering Design Process (EDP): You will systematically Define the game challenge, Brainstorm creative robot designs, Build and Test prototypes, and constantly Iterate and refine your machine for optimal performance. You will learn to treat every setback as an opportunity to improve! Sharpening Problem-Solving Skills: This course is a hands-on boot camp for critical thinking. Boosting Communication and Teamwork: Competitive robotics is a team sport! You will practice clear, effective communication to share ideas, explain your design choices to judges, and coordinate strategies with your teammates during the intense competition matches. Unleashing Creativity: There is no single "right answer" in robotics. We challenge you to use your creativity to design unique, efficient, and robust mechanisms that give our team a competitive edge.
