New Mentors
are required to attend 4 Professional Learning Series trainings in order to qualify to become an instructional mentor. Each PLS consists of 2 full day trainings. In addition, PLS Trainings are offered over the summer to reduce the time out of the classroom.

School Level Mentors attending PLS Mentor Trainings during Fall or Spring Break are eligible for Stipends!!!!
Consideration: Although it is highly recommended, It is not required that NEW Mentors complete ALL 4 PLS trainings in their first year.
However, in order to be considered a RETURNING mentor, you must complete:
ALL 4 PLS trainings
Complete one full year of mentoring
*Completing the above qualifies you for the RETURNING MENTOR stipend
* It is highly recommended that a mentor take trainings in sequential order.
**Returning Mentor Stipend: $1000 ** New Mentor: $750
