The Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum is committed to sharing our knowledge about the history, culture, and natural sciences of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific with learners of all ages. The Online Learning Center features photos, videos, blog posts, podcasts, activities, and lesson plans, on history, culture, science, and other subjects.

Take students beyond the classroom and into some of the world's most iconic locations with virtual field trips. Join them live for new Virtual Field Trips or watch videos on-demand after their premieres.

Google Arts & Culture features content from over 2000 leading museums and archives who have partnered with the Google Cultural Institute to bring the world's treasures online.


In an effort to keep keiki, parents and educators engaged during the stay-at-home order, Iolani Palace is encouraging kamaaina and visitors alike to use its variety of free virtual experiences and online educational resources.

The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History virtual tours allow visitors to take self-guided, room-by-room tours of select exhibits and areas within the museum from their desktop or mobile device. Visitors can also access select collections and research areas at our satellite support and research stations as well as past exhibits no longer on display.
