MAIN PROGRAMS

The programs listed below are used at our school in various grade levels. These programs are intended to enhance the educational experience, streamline communications, and support student success. Please explore the websites and read through the terms of use and privacy policies. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Students may refer to their personalized login sheet to view their usernames and passwords to access these programs. Click on the arrows to see more information.

All programs collect some form of student data including:

  • Name (first and last)

  • School ID Number

  • Grade Level

  • Birthday & Age

  • Gender

  • School Email address

  • Scores and progress collected from website activities

Consent Form Policy

Some programs indicate parental consent is needed. If consent is not granted, teachers will provide equitable assignments that do not use the online program.

Achieve3000 (Kidbiz 3000) is an online literacy program that provides nonfiction reading content to students and focuses on building phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills.

Beanstack is a web and mobile app used to track independent reading time, and help build a culture of reading in school and at home. Beanstack makes it easier for us to help kids track reading, keep kids motivated to read, and provide feedback and insights into the reading habits of our school.

BrainPOP offers curriculum based animated movies, learning games, interactive quizzes, primary source activities, and a breadth of additional resources for students in various subjects.

Code.org provides students with free coding lessons and encourages schools to include more computer science lessons into their curriculum. The program introduces computer coding logic to expose kids to how coding works and the cool stuff you can make with it. Code.org sets a foundation which can grow into an interest in advanced coding languages.

Clever is our school’s digital learning platform for resources, messaging, and analytics. With single sign-on, everything is one click away for your community of students, families, and educators. Clever simplifies digital learning by creating one friendly place for resources, communication, and insights—whether signing on at school, at home, or both. Clever guarantees a secure, one-stop login to automatically access various websites.

DimensionU hosts a selection of first-person, multiplayer games that focus on core math and literacy skills. DimensionU also provides academic support and promotes critical thinking skills for grades 3-9 through e-sports education. Google Workspace (formerly known as Google Apps and later G Suite) is a collection of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tools, software and products developed and marketed by Google. Students at AAES will have access to the full host of apps such as Meets, Classroom, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and more through our school domain.

A Google Workspace Manager for Classrooms. The Google Chrome add-on allows teachers to monitor and communicate directly with students through their browser.

i‑Ready is a comprehensive assessment and instruction program that empowers educators with the resources they need to help all students succeed. Our state uses it to assess student quarterly progress. As a comprehensive assessment and instruction program, i-Ready provides online lessons with tailored instruction and practice as well as clear reports with actionable data that give teachers a foundational understanding of students’ strengths and areas of need.

The IXL platform is a personalized, math-based digital learning space that uses actionable analytics, real-time diagnostics, and personalized guidance to give students and educators the tools to target specific learning goals. Personalized learning in various math subjects. IXL offers grade-level specific lessons and practice questions, makes recommendations based on content student on which student has been working and common core standards, and allows teachers to track and diagnose student progress.

Learning/Reading A-Z Kids is an online guided reading program with interactive ebooks, downloadable books, and reading quizzes.

Teacher Version: Provides comprehensive implementation resources for differentiated offline reading instruction including lesson plans, worksheets, graphic organizers, assessment tools, comprehension quizzes, fluency passages, and readers' theater scripts.

Student Version: Students can access books and resources from RAZ digitally and view assignments or take examinations.

Mathseeds teaches kids aged 3–9 the core math and problem solving skills needed to be successful at school with fun, highly interactive and rewarding online lessons.

Origo Slate provides access to Stepping Stones 2.0 which is a K-6 core mathematics instructional program with visual representations, traditional printed products, interactive digital resources, and professional learning. They have a comprehensive math curriculum, that teaches math concepts by building understanding through language and discourse, powerful visual models and engaging activities that foster student thinking.

Two-way communication app for individualized updates and class announcements directly to teachers' and families' phones.

Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. Classroom-hosting platform to open communication between teachers, students, and parents. Teachers can find or create assignments/lesson plans to assign to students; students can complete and submit their work directly to teachers and/or their peers through a variety of mediums (written, audio, video, etc.).

Smarty Ants is a comprehensive online reading program that uses game-based learning to help kids build their literacy muscles to become strong early readers. Interactive and engaging program that leads students through animated lessons and activities to develop literacy skills.

STEMScopes is an online resource that builds and supplements teachers' STEM curriculums. They aim to help teachers adopt effective STEM instructional practices, improve student performance, and increase the engagement of parents through customized instruction.

Teachers Pay Teachers is the go-to platform created by teachers, for teachers to access the community, content, and tools they need to teach at their best. Today, TpT empowers teachers with the world's largest catalog of over 5 million pieces of educator-created content.

Teachers Pay Teachers also has a student portal (Easel) which allows teachers to deliver materials directly to their classes and view student activities.

On Reading Wonders (McGraw Hill ConnectEd), students can play games and complete activities to practice spelling, grammar, and vocabulary to match classroom work. Students can also access the stories we are reading online and take assessments. Teacher Version: Digital online component of the Wonders Connected reading material. With teacher accounts, they can view grade-level materials, readings, and lessons.

Student Version: Students can access books and resources from Wonders digitally as well as view assignments and take examinations.
